(140) The European Data Protection Board should be assisted by a secretariat provided by the European Data Protection Supervisor. The staff of the European Data Protection Supervisor performing the tasks entrusted to the European Data Protection Board by this Regulation should perform their tasks exclusively under the direction and subordination of the President of the European Data Protection Board.
